There are several options available in Brunei:
- Local Government Schools
Except for the first couple of years of Primary School, the local Government Schools use English as the medium of instruction.
- Private Schools
This sector can be further subdivided into:
- International Schools
- Mission Schools
- Chinese Schools
- Boarding Schools
In your home or another country .
The school your children attend will largely depend on who you work for and what sort of package you are on and sometimes on where you actually live. Some parents, especially those from non-English speaking countries, supplement their children's day to day schooling with home schooling programmes from their home country.
If your family's native language is not English then it is strongly recommended that you gather educational resources and contacts from your home country before you come. |
