The Brunei Australian Rules Football League
Founded in 1997, the BARFL has provided Aussies and other expats a taste of real football. A fast action packed game, unlike any other football code, combines a numbers of skill levels played in good spirit and followed up by the usual post match session. We are always on the lookout for new players and participants from all nationalities are most welcome. Our version of the game and our leagues philosophy is based on the four "F's" - Fun, Fitness, Footy and Fellowship. Training and matches are usually held on Thursdays at 5pm at Jerudong International School Sports Field. In addition to our domestic season, the BARFL Sharks touring side has played in Singapore 1999, Jakarta 2000 and Malaysia 2003, with next international being organised for 2005.
