Alliance Francaise de Brunei
Look out for French culture! The Alliance Francaise de Brunei regularly presents concerts, exhibitions & the Annual French Film Festival at the Empire Theatre. Visit our centre, to check out the French & Malay language classes we offer together with the facilities we have such as : library ( over 4000 books, magazines & newspapers), video library ( over 400 videos & DVDs for rental) and Cine-Club, where we feature a French movie (English subtitled), every Thursday at 8pm. American Women's Group
The American Women's Group aspires to hold a "coffee" morning  (or some other activity)  on a once  monthly basis. Usually, it is the last Wednesday of every month  somewhere in the Bandar area. 
Our numbers are few  but we have warm hearts and a welcoming spirit. 
We would love to meet and socialize with  fellow Americans from  K.B. or Seria.
Americans new to the community are especially welcome.

British Community Link (BCL)
A very active group that meets on the first Wednesday of every month at The Orchid Garden Hotel, BSB  for CoffeePlus, usually a talk or demonstration on a variety of interesting topics. They also organise many other interest groups and functions for example, jungle walks, cookery demonstrations, book club, social evenings, bazaars and fetes etc.

Canadian Club Canadien
The Canadian Club Canadien was established in September 2002 and is open to anyone living in Brunei . The objectives of the Club are: to provide a community link, to support each member of the Club, to contribute to Bruneian Society, to organise activities for the members and to represent and to promote Canada in Brunei . There is a one time only $10 family or $5 single membership fee which will entitle you to participate in all CCC activities.

Meeting Point
Who? Why? Where? What?
Meeting Point is a monthly meeting that aims to bring people together no
matter how they came to be in Brunei .
Meetings are held monthly and we try to cover a wide variety of topics.
Previous topics include:-- Chinese New Year Festival, The sea world under the Oil/Gas Platforms, Travel in and around Brunei, The fascinating story of the Pearl, First Aid for children and much more.
Most meetings are held in the Pelangi room at Panaga, Patio at the Garrison and occasionally at other locations..
Last year, amongst other meetings, we went on a Boat Trip to the Platforms and a visit to the Oil & Gas Discovery Centre. 
Meeting Point extends a welcome to everyone. Non Panaga Members pay $5 for a day pass to Panaga Club
The contact names will be advertised for each meeting so that you can organise to be signed in if you are not accompanied by a member.

to join the  group please give us a ring as we would like to hear from you..

New Zealand Association
The Association has now been registered in Brunei, and has held its first AGM.
If you wish to stay in touch, we have a "jungledrum"-type newsletter.  You can subscribe at www.groups.yahoo.com/group/nzbruneinews
News of the new committee and any activites will be emailed to all those registered with the Yahoo group.
The association has been formed with the following objectives:
    to provide a community link for New Zealanders and friends living in Brunei
    to provide a communications network for New Zealanders living in Brunei
    to organise activities for members
    to promote New Zealand in Negara Brunei Darussalam
    to contribute to Brunei society

St. Andrew's Society (BSB)
The St. Andrew's Society in Bandar Seri Begawan hold several functions throughout the year. You don't have to be Scottish to apply for membership, just keen on having a good time and dancing is encouraged. Dancing classes are held throughout the year at times to suit members. We kick off with a Burns supper in January and end with a Ball (that all will be talking about) in November. We also enter a team for the Panaga Highland Games and a Scottish Ceilidh in-between.
